What We Do

We’re a Black- and POC-led collective building a stronger, more connected training ecosystem across the DMV. Our goal is twofold: to provide high quality, skills-based training to the community based on the needs that we’re seeing and hearing on the ground, and to build a space for trainers to connect with one another and exchange strategies and resources.

Our workshops are grounded in deep training experience, a commitment to radical organizing, and a belief that community transformation starts with how we gather.

We offer:

  • Skill-building rooted in liberatory frameworks

  • Training approaches grounded in the experiences and expertise of BIPOC community in the DMV

  • Space to connect, not just learn

  • Resources and tools you can use right away

  • A network of facilitators, educators, and activists across the DMV

The Network

At its core, DC Trainers Network is about connection between participants and trainers alike. We’re organizers, parents, educators, and facilitators who know the work is better when we do it together.

Some of us come to learn.

Some of us come to teach.

Many of us come just to be in community.

Our spaces are collaborative, joyful, and rooted in trust. We’re proud to be building something that reflects the radical spirit of the DMV.
